No Gift Policy

SME Bank takes a zero-tolerance approach toward bribery and corruption and is committed to acting professionally, fairly, and with highest integrity in all business dealings and relationships in all jurisdictions in which it operates.

SME Bank has adopted a No Gift Policy whereby, subject only to certain narrow exceptions, SME Bank’s Directors and employees are prohibited from directly or indirectly receiving or providing gifts from/to customers and any other external parties for the employees’ personal benefit or for the benefit of others which related to the SME Bank’s Directors or employee.

In the event that it is not possible or practically reasonable to decline the gift(s) and subsequently declare to the Integrity & Governance or to report using the Gift, Entertainment & Hospitality Declaration form that can be downloaded here.
